Ilford Elmo FP-C 8mm & Super 8 projector / projektori & teline
Tuotteen kuvaus
Kunto: Kohtalainen
Elmo FP-C film projector, made in Japan in 1966 or 1967 and sold in the UK by Ilford.
It works with Super 8 film and also Standard 8. There's a clever mechanism for easily switching between the two 8mm formats.
I bought it in the UK and used it for a few years, to watch the films I shot with my Zeiss Standard 8 camera. It worked very well and the picture was sharp. I moved to Finland about 10 years ago, and the projector has been in the cupboard the whole time. Now I'm moving house, and it's time to find a new home for this projector.
I tested it. The good news is that it powers up, the shutter, gate, sprockets and automatic film threading mechanism work fine, and it pulls film through correctly. The bad news is that the bulb no longer lights up. The spools are also a little slow, I guess it could use a new drive belt. Otherwise everything is in good condition.
If you have any trouble finding a replacement bulb, there is a fairly cheap and simple way to upgrade this projector to a halogen bulb: https://8mmforum.film-tech.com/vbb/forum/8mm-forum/2706-elmo-fp-a-fp-c-lamp-conversion
The original box, instructions (in English), dust cover and cleaning brush are included. It has a UK power plug, so I'm also including a euro plug adaptor. :)
The price includes a Millenium (Thomann) BS-1100 stand. It's intended for studio monitor speakers but it's perfect for projectors. The height is variable, and there are adjustable feet for levelling. It's made of black metal, it's very strong, and it's in excellent condition. The new price is 38e plus 12e shipping from Germany.
Price for projector only: 10e. Stand only: 15e.
