Vintage item, looks like it's been in regular rotation on a neat guy that was the right size for the item and cared for it. So, can't be mistaken for a new or near-new item but there's nothing that spoils the mood or the look. Has been washed correctly as the cotton feel as it should and does not look "dry".

Most serious defect is/was a tiny drop-sized stain on left chest near the logo and shoulder seam, the stain weakened considerably after basic gall-soap treatment and now I'd say you only notice it when the item is observed flat off the person.

Made in Hong Kong, in my view the best origin for vintage Gant knits.

Shoulder/Armpit area is extremely well designed (see the special seam), no signs of any stress in the armpit seam/joint and the shoulder design gives room for layering/upper body mass.

Sleeve and hem elastic in very good condition.

Gorgeous neutral orange, not too warm nor too cold, to my eye it is more of a spring/summer item though in colour tone

For me 178cm/85kg (I wear mens L tops, 34/32 jeans/chinos) Perfect fit and ideal user is about my size, probably fits better down towards M than up towards XL guy.

I have a professional garment steamer. All the items are steam-ironed and inspected. If there is any latent smell/odour on the item, it will be noticed when the item is steamed. If there is odour, the item is destroyed and never put for sale.
