Item has natural wear effects on the surface, the duck canvas has taken a slight sheen at spots thanks to wear. Item possibly could use a wash but there is nothing nasty or stain like; for now I chose not to wash it but can do it upon request and report back. Item is fresh and the shape is undisturbed, seems like it was never in heavy action but still worn in regular rotation by a neat guy for some period of time.

Best way to describe the coat is to say it's a michigan coat with the leather reinforcements added. Elbow reinforcements are placed correctly, check the pic.

Item weighs 1420 grams

Sturdy but not insanely so, again just like Michigan; Item stands up on its own from halfway up.

Typical simple regular cut.

Item is a 2010 collab with the now bankrupt UNIONMADE retail store.

Fully lined, quilted sleeves which slide on well, cottonflannel lining and has some insulation/polyester padding there inbetween. I'd say lining is a bit lighter than the blanket lined chore coats.

Hidden elastic ribbing at sleeves

No gussets/No extra mobility cut at the back but it's not tight the way it is so the cut is less mobile than OG chore coat

For me 180cm/85kg (I wear mens L tops, 34/32 jeans/chinos) I can put the item on and close it all the way no problem but it is too small to wear. However, I get a good idea of the shape this way -- it is pretty accommodating, for any S sized guy I'd say it is a sure fit, I think item fits true to size. I have sometimes found Carhartt outerwear to fit a little small.

I have a professional garment steamer. All the items are steam-ironed and inspected. If there is any latent smell/odour on the item, it will be noticed when the item is steamed. If there is odour, the item is destroyed and never put for sale.
