No clue on if it is a mens or a womens item, length is cropped but not awfully short, sleeves are too short for it to be a mens item in my opinion.

Torso volume fits about like a mens M regular

No info on origin, does not seem like a modern item, check the neck label

For me 180cm/85kg (I wear mens L tops, 34/32 jeans/chinos) I can easily put the item on and wear it, however it is too short for me to really use it and the sleeves are too short. Shape is pretty so it's a nice item if you want something cropped like this.
