BOLT-TIGHT STABILIZATION

Audiobahn's use of Bolt-Tight Stabilizers (BTS) creates a three-point axis to add sturdy alignment between the motor structure and basket. The alignment of the motor structure with the basket is crucial in subwoofer applications. BTS keeps the top-plate and bottom-plate aligned and reduces voice coil rub, noise and distortion by keeping the voice coil centered in the gap.

CONE

The Ultra Excursion Series' cone is made from a lightweight composite pulp. It is then coated with glass fiber to add stability. This advancement in design technology unites the accurate, responsive performance of a lightweight paper cone with the rigidity of glass fiber lamination.
