Pipercross Performance Replacement Elements simply drop into the original airbox, replacing the original restrictive paper air filter with a performance, high flow element. No other modifications, parts or accessories are required.

For drivers that require 30% more airflow, a lifetime warranty, washable air filter but without an increase in intake sound, a Pipercross replacement element panel filter provides the perfect solution. The foam filters have been designed to improve air flow and horsepower, offering a crisper throttle response and superior performance for improved acceleration and greater driving enjoyment.

As airborne dirt particles are trapped by paper air filters, there is a dramatic increase in pressure drop which essentially robs the engine of airflow and power. Due to the deep foam construction of each Pipercross air filter, airflow is able to negotiate trapped dirt. Air filter service intervals are extended with the Pipercross panel filter, with a lifespan between cleaning of double that of the same paper filter. By simply cleaning and refitting the Pipercross panel filter, there is less waste and service costs are reduced. With improved efficiency and less restriction on the airflow, you can also see improved mpg figures, possibly giving important savings on fuel.
