HP Z640 workstation optimized for maximum computing power. The machine has 2 processors, Intel Xeon E5-2698 V3 and 32 physical / 64 logical cores 3.6 Ghz!
The machine is very powerful, but quiet. The temperatures of the processors are normal at full load (74 – 82C). The machine has 8 memory slots.
Currently installed 2x 16 Gb DDR4 ECC error-correcting memory. Ask if you need more RAM. 1x256Gb Samsung SATA SSD. Can also boot from and use NVMe bifurcation cards if you need NVMe storage.
Graphics card Nvidia Quadro K620, sufficient for office use. Can fit up to 300mm long GPU's comfortably. Optical DVD burning and SD card reader on the front.
PSU is 920W Workstation grade with 2x 6pin PCIe. You can use 2x8pin adapters for more powerful GPU's.
Comes with Windows 10 Professional license. Can preinstall Windows or Linux should you wish.
