Even with TR’s faults, this game is quite enjoyable for new people to the TR universe. Old fans will just be ecstatic over the story and the chance to play a 21st century version of Lara Croft.

Hard-core Tomb Raider fans and other particularly patient players should be able to overlook some of these flaws and enjoy this new installment for its engaging storyline, death-defying action sequences, and impressive locations.

A wonderful story, great characterization of Lara and how she’s sorta corrupted by what happened to her in Egypt, it’s a gruesome game with lots of mystery.

It’s just held back by annoying controls, unfinished areas, and most importantly fans who think it’s completely terrible when it’s not true. It has its flaws, just like the other games, but it’s not unplayable.
