The grill auto lights and uses an auger (screw) to feed pellets from a hopper, to generate heat/smoke. The package includes two thermocouples to measure internal and 'meat' temperature, although the temperature can be dialed and maintained quite well, without the thermocouples. Pellets can be purchased at K-Rauta, Verkkokauppa and other stores.
