On a gold-plated star of 85 mm formed from eight beams of rays. The diameter is an enamelled medallion with a white field and an outwardly 16-pointed, smooth red ring. It shows in the field the golden eagle reproduced on the seal of the federal state of Vienna with the colored enamelled Viennese coat of arms in the breastplate.
