When you layer correctly it possibly works in the winter also, weight is atleast that of a deep autumn jacket but it is clearly not very heavy and bulky.

For me 180cm/85kg (I wear mens L tops, 34/32 jeans/chinos) Good fit, allows for plenty of layering, for a guy smaller than me it will start to look silly.
