Wooden Mechanical Chess Timer, Alpha #522 Tournament Analogue Chess Clock from the 1970's

This is a nice mechanical "Alpha" chess clock, model #522 made in Germany ca. 1960's - 1970's. The case of the clock is made of solid wood with very clean and simple design. Wood pattern is well visible and beautiful. All fittings (hands, handles, buttons etc.) are made of metal. An interesting feature of the clock is the guillotine mechanism that notifies the end of time. In later models it's replaced with a simple flag. The clock comes with no storage box.

Condition:

The clock is very good used condition. Both mechanisms are fully functional. Small crack near left clock. No other chips or cracks to the body. There are some age related marks and signs on the surface. There's an previous owner name on the bottom that can be removed using sandpaper. Varnish is showing nice patina. The nickel coating is in good shape. Please examine images carefully as they are important part of description.
