Selling a beautiful and special chess set. The board is made of wood and inlayed with lots of mother of pearl (helmiäinen), finished with laquer, which is in very good condition. Figure set is complete and likely hand-carved from turned pieces.
Board size; ~33x33cm
Probably of persian/arabic origin, as the bishop is an elephant.
