For the lovers of freedom-respecing and privacy-respecting computing. This is a Dell workstation reconditioned by the best of the best, Minifree, to remove all the proprietary Intel components. I've received it in January 2025 and tested it for a couple days, otherwise it's unused.
Only pick up in Vallila/Sörnäinen, Helsinki. Payment preferably by bank transfer, mobilepay or cash.
250 € covers what I paid for the hardware + shipping + customs and VAT. I can also install the GNU/Linux distribution of your choice and help you with configuration and data migration if you're not used to it (let's say 1 hour free consultation at my place in Vallila).
This is a rather energy efficient machine: I've measured 18 W of power usage at the wall socket when idle. It's ok as a base for a small home NAS, for example. For more intense usage I recommend switching to 32 GB of RAM (it's easy to access the internals by pushing one button to open the case).
